Art Journal- What to do when the pieces dont seem to fit?

So, i have finally made a journal page :), It been a while.
I started to paint the page with white gesso and then I added regular acryl paint in crimson with i mixed with some lumiere paint in the same color. Then I stamped the puzzle stamp on the page in archival jet black, witch are a paperartsy stamp. Added a spiderweb stamp around the puzzle pieces with are from TH. I then restamped the stamp on cardstock with i added to the page. The boarder around the page are a TH stamp, witch I then paint with white and black posca pen. Added the text and color it up with a posca pen in black and outlined with a posca in white.

Take a word- Turquoise

So, this card  I created for the take a word challange where the theme where Turquoise. I used glossy ATC card. I started to spray colorwash sprays in demin over the whole card. Then I stamped numbers by paperartsy in archival jet black all over the place. Then I added musicnote paper witch I painted with distress ink in broken china. Added the wings how are from iamroses.com and the collage sheet. lastly I added the text with my dymo.

Take a word- ATC/old fashioned

This ATC I started to paint the card with lumiere paint i metallic russet. Then i stamped a prima stamp in archical plum. Then I stamped the tree and the birds from the Tim Holtz stampset mini ornate in archival jet black. Added the imaged and the computer generated text.

Take a word- coffee

So i maded this ATC for the take a word challange where the theme was coffee. I desided to use the archical ink in coffe instead of a cup of coffee.

I started to glue down old book pages to the ATC. Then i covered the whole card with archival ink in coffee. I stamped the harlequin stamp (TH) in archival plum. Then I added the picture from a Graphic 45 paperpack named the communique. Stamped the gears from a paperartsy stampsset in archival jet black. Lastly I melted white beswax over the whole card.
